Welcome to the 7th Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP) Pharmacy Education Forum, March 6-8, 2024. Since its inception in April 2001, the Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP) has consistently been at the forefront of fostering excellence and collaboration amongst pharmacy institutions across Asia. In this ever-evolving academic landscape, AASP has always sought to highlight the timely challenges and opportunities that pharmacy educators, deans, and academic institutions face.

This year, our theme is exceptionally pertinent: "Best Practices in Advancing Pharmacy Education in the Next Decades". Hosted by the College of Pharmacy, Rangsit University and The Pharmacy Education Consortium of Thailand (PECT), we intend to delve deep into the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on pharmacy education. We are at a juncture where AI promises to revolutionise various sectors, including pharmacy. This forum aims to foster discussions on how we, as educators and professionals, can harness the potential of AI to complement and enhance our roles in pharmacy rather than being overshadowed by it.

Distinguished speakers from across Asia will be sharing insights on leveraging AI in pharmacy education and ensuring it remains a tool that empowers, not replaces.
